Les compagnons sont nombreux dans le hangar et travaillent dur autour de la E41.
L’événement marquant de la séance est l’essai concluant de la turbodynamo. Après des discussions entre quelques compagnons et l’entreprise qui était en charge du rebobinage, le problème a été identifié et résolu. Notre turbodynamo débite enfin du courant et nous voyons enfin la lumière.
Le travail de tôlerie du châssis se poursuit avec ténacité. Le démontage des pièces de suspension des bogies du tender est achevé et leur nettoyage se poursuit. Les mesures de côtes des pièces de suspensions de la loco et les épreuves hydrauliques des tuyauteries continuent. Un compagnon continue à oeuvrer sur la confection de pièces qui permettront de décrosser des tiges des pistons HP et BP.
La petite découverte amusante de la séance est une pièce de suspension qui appartenait à la E22 actuellement entreposée à la Cité du Train à Mulhouse.
There are many companions in the shed and they are bustling around the “E”.
The highlight of this session was the conclusive test of the Turbodynamo. After discussions between a few journeymen and the company that was in charge of the rewinding, the problem was identified and finally solved. Our Turbo dynamo finally delivers power and we finally see the light.
The sheet metal work on the chassis also continues tenaciously. The dismantling of the tender’s bogie suspension parts is complete and their cleaning is ongoing. Measurements of the bushing dimensions of the locomotive suspension and brake components, as well as the hydraulic testing of the piping, are still ongoing… A journeyman continues to work on making the parts that will be used to extract the HP and LP piston rods.
A funny little discovery of the session: One of the brake shoe holders that belonged to the 231-E-22, currently on display at the Mulhouse train station.
